Band history
Formed in 2008.  Still forming.  Come back next year when we actually have a history.  Really...we will eventually have one....

The BAND:

Tony Oropallo: (Vocals/Keyboards)

Born in southern Italy in the late 50's, this highly trained accordion player always knew deep down in his heart that some day he would break the shackles of the bellows and come into his own. Although Mama and Papa were broken hearted,  they soon realized that there was much more to their precious first born bambino than a wicked "Lady of Spain" and eye watering "Ave Maria".

He is also an accomplished wine maker and makes his living as a Sales Executive for Grossman Marketing Group.

He has a great familgia with a beautiful non-Italian blonde wife and 3 wonderful but very destructive boys and a very cute pug named Ollie.  Yes, or should I say Si, Tonio still occasionally  massages those vertical pearly whites and those 120 beautiful black basses, but now he feels free to enjoy playing a horizontal key board that you actually plug in, surrounded by great guitar licks while belting out some incredible screaming vocals. Yes this Italian boy has realized all his pastabilities.

Ciao,
Dontonio of Silent Feedback

Steve Greene: (Guitar/Vocals)

Born and raised in Worcester, Massachusetts - Steve was influenced by the late sixties music of Cream, the Beatles, the Stones, and more.

By the mid-seventies - he was playing in bands, listening to Led Zeppelin and Aerosmith, and then moved to Connecticut to attend Trinity College.  There he played in a series of Rock bands and was influenced by the new wave of music such as the Police, the Pretenders, the Clash, the Smithereens...and after all that time - - - - - he's still in Connecticut.

Steve likes to write guitar based music, play Rickenbacker and Fender Guitars through tube amps, and play keyboards.
In Silent FeedBack - we are working hard to bring new songs to life and new life to old songs.
The BAND:

Thom Roberts: (Bass/Vocals

Al Stewart: (Drums/Lyricist)

Born in Waterbury, Ct. in 1959, it wasn't until March of 1978 that Al first sat behind a pair of Drums in Augsburg, Germany.   Playing came so fast & natural to Al that within 45 days, he formed his first band "The Al Stewart Band" & was gigging on the local Army bases & night clubs in around Augsburg!   Upon his return to the states, after over a decade of not playing, Al returned to form "IHS" in the mid 90's, a Contemporary Christian Band & then along with Silent Feedback's present Vocalist, Tony Oropallo, formed "Middle Age Dream" in early 2004 & they released an EP in 2005, "I Once Was Young" on Indie label Olive Tree Records in Washington.

Al's songs as he says "are really stories about life" with wide ranging themes.  His best known songs to date of which 2 were written with good friend Michael Burns: "Apartment For Rent" about life growing up in Waterbury,  "Gem's" a ballad about treating others the way we desire to be treated and, "Blue Gray Sky/Wendy's Song" a powerfully driven track about a young woman from Ohio who took her life back in 1996, it's also a track encouraging teens that life is always worth living.

In Silent Feedback, Al has already collaborated with Lead Guitarist/Vocalist Steve Greene on penning the lyrics to Steve's new track "Lights"
